About me

Hi! My name is Zhi-Ping Liu (刘志平). I’m a Ph.D. student at the Nanjing University (NJU), under the supervision of Prof. Zeng-Bing Chen and Prof. Hua-Lei Yin.

I received the B.S. degree in Physics from NJU in July 2020. I have worked as a Research Intern at the Institute for Quantum Computing, Baidu Research, where I was mentored by staff researchers Dr. Xin Wang and Dr. Kun Fang. I also served as a Research Assistant at the QuAIR Laboratory led by Professor Xin Wang, in the Thrust of Artificial Intelligence, Information Hub, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). You can find my full CV here. (updated in June, 2025)

I am broadly interested in quantum information theory, quantum computation, and artificial intelligence. In particular, I’m fascinated by how various quantum resources make things different. Currently, I am exploring the intersection between quantum theory and language models.

I’m actively looking for potential research collaborators - please feel free to get in touch!
